An Amazing Gift
You can't see it. Nor smell it. It has no colour, no texture though it holds great warmth.
You can't hold it, or fly it or sit on it. It's really really big and teeny tiny too.
It was given freely, with love, and received with awe and gratitude.
And whilst most desired completely unexpected.
For the Choir of friends who sing this to me
Keep smilin', keep shinin'
Knowin' you can always count on me, for sure
That's what friends are for
For good times and bad times
I'll be on your side forever more
That's what friends are for
Whoa... oh... oh... keep smilin', keep shinin'
Knowin' you can always count on me, for sure
That's what friends are for
For good times and bad times
I'll be on your side forever more
That's what friends are for
Keep smilin', keep shinin'
Knowin' you can always count on me, oh, for sure
'Cause I tell you that's what friends are for
For good times and for bad times
I'll be on your side forever more
That's what friends are for (That's what friends are for)
That's what friends are for
Keep smilin', keep shinin'

Caral's Prompt
I sit on the garden swing and eat yoghurt and strawberries.
I lay on my bed and read.
I do digital scrapbooking.
I talk to friends - in person, on the phone or by email or chat.
I do some basic yoga I have learnt - that really helps...and stretches, I can put my hands on the floor.
With out bending my knees.
I daydream.
If I need to shut my mind down, which gets more of a continual workout then my body I try to sleep. This is not always easy to do.
The greatest challenge for me is to shut off the thinking and the writing. I have some little visual walks I mentally go on to attempt to stem the flow, I also use these when I am at the dentist or something else scary and potentially painful.
