Woody Allen and Dessert

Thor and The Accountant (who informs me Boot Camp is no more!) collected me and we went to see the new Woody Allen Movie 'SCOOP'.
We were fortunate to get in, as they had given away more tickets than there were seats; thus with popcorn in hand we made ourselves comfortable a mere 3 rows from the front, and slightly to the left.
Not as weird or full of angst as many WA movies, Scoop stars Hugh Jackman and Scarlett Johansen - and of course Woody himself.
He wrote and directed the film also.

The character he plays fits him well, or vice versa, and if in the past you have found him annoying it ought not to be quite so this time.
Scarlett was somewhat demure (for once) and Hugh Jackman seemed very tall.

There were a few familiar faces amongst the supporting actors.
A very clever begining and ending, English homes: both modern and traditonal, filmed in London etc and with some witty lines along the way.

Then it was on to dessert.....at Freestyle Tout

The accountant selected Creme Brulee with Berries (and a small jug of cream)
whilst The Observer chose for this visit New York Baked Cheesecake with berry sorbet & meringue lattice. We pronounced everything delightful.

We selected hot chocolate sans marshmellows.

We beat the normal post cinema rush and did not have to wait for a table.
