3rd September - Father's Day in Australia.

Fathers, and children, and mothers and aunts, uncles, grandparents; in other words families, celebrated together on Sunday. Here in the land Downunder.

The Irwin family were not together. Strangely.

Then Steve died Monday morning - in a fluke event. This man that danced with death almost daily was taken. Sure, doing one of the things he loved best. None the less.

Now, there is another family without a dad, another wife alone; who must try and comfort and explain.
Two more children with a wide shadow of sorrow across their lives.
